2020-2021 Board Meeting Dates

ALL MEETINGS ARE AT 7:00 AM IN THE STA CONFERENCE ROOM

The Regularly scheduled school board meetings of Sojourner Truth Academy will be held electronically on April 14, 2020; May 19, 2020; and June 16, 2020 in compliance with the recommendations of the Minnesota Department of Health following the State of Minnesota’s Emergency Executive Order 20-01 to address the Covid-19 pandemic.

These electronic meetings will be held by Zoom with related working papers provided by desktop sharing during the meeting. The public may join the meeting by requesting an invitation from Troy Kipper, Director of Finance and Operations at tkipper@sojournertruthacademy.org. Meeting admission will be managed by the host of the Zoom Meeting, Julie Guy, Executive Director. Public comment opportunities will be provided by using the Zoom “Raise Hand” within the Zoom “Participants” feature at the lower center of the Zoom interface.

This board meeting is to discuss a letter our Board Chair is working on to send to PUC in regards to extending the timeline for the external review as stated in the authorizer contract.

Annual Reporting

The Sojourner Truth Academy board will be participating in development trainings facilitated by its authorizer, Pillsbury United Communities. Although the full or a majority of members will be present, no official board business will be conducted.

The trainings will be held at the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits offices at:
2314 University Ave W #20, St Paul, MN 55114

The dates of the trainings are:
9:00am – 2:00pm
